Compliance testing targets e-passports

RFI-Smart has launched its complete compliance testing service for e-passports and the Government ID scheme based on the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) standard. Governments worldwide have taken the decision to implement e-passports to minimise fraud by incorporating a secure chip containing personal information; name, date of birth etc as well as biometric data. The challenge is to make sure that all e-passports work correctly as, to date, there is no worldwide regulatory body, as does exist in the payment industry.
