Telecomms quality certification proves popular

TUV SUD America announces it has achieved notable market placement to date with respect to the overall number of active TL9000 management system certifications, ranking fourth for TL9000 certifications in the USA and sixth for TL9000 certifications worldwide. The TL9000 quality management system (QMS) was created by QuEST Forum to meet the quality requirements of the worldwide telecommunications industry. The registration management system (RMS) provides information on an organisation's registration to the TL9000 standard.

Certified registrations are public records of the TL9000 registration and proof to the industry that all the applicable TL9000 requirements including measurements are being met.

The RMS is an extremely valuable resource with multiple functions that support TL9000 registration, quick reports and statistics, data submission, account management, and registrar access.

These rankings, published by the QuEST Forum, include companies that have issued the most active certificates in the telecommunications market segment.

TUV ranked fifth among TL9000 certified locations worldwide and third for number of TL9000 certified locations in the USA.

Commenting on QuEST Forum rankings, TUV SUD America's Director, Management Service, Calin Molldovean, says: 'We are pleased with the ranking results, which demonstrate our ongoing and global commitment to being at the forefront of quality and efficiency for certification development on behalf of our customers'.

'We look forward to further improving our record for service delivery for TL9000 in 2007'.
