Bluetooth testers check V2.1+EDR compliance

AT4 wireless has launched the first Bluetooth conformance test systems to incorporate V2.1+EDR capabilities. This latest Bluetooth core specification includes secure simple pairing, extended inquiry response or erroneous data reporting among its new features, and all are now available in AT4 wireless BITE test systems. During recent months, several AT4 customers, including some of the most important BQTF laboratories worldwide, have acquired the Bluetooth Version 2.0 + EDR update on their BITE systems, confirming BITE as the only conformance test system worldwide supporting both RF and protocol testing capabilities for the latest Bluetooth core specifications.

'We are putting all our efforts to validate as soon as possible the AT4 BITE systems with this new enhancement in order to provide our existing customers, and new ones that might come as well, with the latest testing capabilities on their Bluetooth labs'.
