Compliance scheme if fit for distributor's waste

n accordance with UK WEEE regulations, RS Components has joined the WeeeCare compliance scheme
The scheme, operated by WasteCare, has national coverage and will collect, recycle or dispose of, in an environmentally sound way, obligated WEEE. RS chose the WeeeCare scheme because of the proven track record of the operator, which has been a national waste management company for 25 years.

The company also has 10 years experience in recycling WEEE, operating its own fleet of vehicles with carriage systems to prevent damage to equipment in order to promote re-use.
