Global group unifies compliance

Extended range of compliance services is available from group of leading specialist test laboratories
TRL Compliance can now offer an extended range of services as part of TRAC Global, a group of leading specialist test laboratories. TRAC (Testing, Regulatory and Compliance) Global is set to become a major force in the worldwide test and regulatory compliance marketplace. 'It enables us to offer an enhanced range of services, delivered seamlessly to customers, who can now access a complete approval process capable of delivering fast and efficient compliance with regulations in force around the world'.

TRL's clients can now have direct access to engineers who are qualified in commercial, military/aerospace, EMC, telecomms, wireless, radio, environmental, finite element analysis, safety, ATEX and machinery inspection services.

Investment in TRAC Global during 2006 was high.

The group acquired new automated EMC chambers, high power EMC amplifiers, telecomms protocol analysers, environmental altitude chambers and indirect lightning-strike test equipment.

Thanks to a number of premises moves, the group now has well equipped centres of excellence at Malvern, Hull and Warwick, together with additional highly competent regional laboratories in the south at Ringwood, in the north at Wigan and within the M25 at Watford.
