Link checks FlexRay for EMC

The TTX-Optical Link is a compact device for electrical decoupling of FlexRay bus signals for EMC testing

Available now from TTTech Automotive, TTX-Optical Link enables bidirectional optical transmission of FlexRay signals while ensuring minimum influence on the FlexRay signals bit timing. It is a new high-performance system for EMC testing of FlexRay networks. It converts FlexRay-signals to optical signals via fibre cable and vice versa.

With its shielded housing and built-in accumulator it fulfils all the requirements to run EMC tests for FlexRay based systems.

Therefore it allows full access to the FlexRay signals using common FlexRay analysis tools.

The EMC validation department of Robert Bosch in Vienna is highly pleased with the new device: 'Due to its robust design and optimal EMC features TTX-Optical Link is perfectly suitable for use in our EMC labs'.

'This first-class test tool contributes significantly to achieving the EMC objectives of our FlexRay development projects'.

The optimal architecture of TTX-Optical Link makes it ideal as a decoupling device for monitoring of systems.

Signals can be transferred over long distances without effects on the existing networks.

Thanks to its bidirectional character it supports both sending and receiving of data.

TTX-Optical Link features an accumulator for 24-hour continuous use and fulfils the requirements of the ISO11452-2 and CISPR25 standards.
