Mobile WiMAX tester sets laboratory standard

Agilent's N6430A PCT solution delivers a comprehensive suite of test solutions for 802.16-2004/Cor2 D3 Mobile WiMAX PCT and development testing

AT4 wireless, the WiMAX Forum's accredited lead lab, is to use Agilent's N6430A WiMAX protocol conformance test (PCT) and development solution, based on the Agilent E6651A Mobile WiMAX test set for PCT testing of WiMAX devices. Agilent's N6430A PCT solution delivers a comprehensive suite of test solutions for 802.16-2004/Cor2 D3 Mobile WiMAX PCT and development testing with a scripting interface to a fully functional radio bearer.

The Agilent E6651A portfolio of solutions supports many R and D testing needs in addition to PCT, including basestation emulation, RF parametric measurements, and radiated performance testing (RPT).
